We all have heard the term abs “are made in the kitchen”. We all have spent at least some time in our lives thinking about what diet plan to follow (KETO, IF, Zone diet,...... the list is never ending) and then end up doing nothing about it.
Although these diets or meal plans can get you to loose weight/ gain muscle/ be shredded for the short term, these results are not sustainable.
Getting abs is the easy part. Maintaining them is where the actual work sets in. Eating boiled eggs and broccoli may sound amazing for two weeks but everybody knows you cannot do that forever. We have to understand that all bodies react differently to these diet plans. We focus so much on what to eat that we forget the key question which is, “how is my body reacting to the food I am putting into my system”. You could be eating the highest quality organic produce & still have a broken digestive system which in turn leads to low energy levels and no visible changes in your body.
There is no such thing as a perfect diet plan. If there was one, everybody would be on it. But it ain’t that simple. Or maybe it is.
Imagine waking up in the morning after a full 6-8 hours of sleep, feeling energetic and ready to hit the day. You are in control of what you eat and don’t have to order a burger at 1 00 pm for breakfast.
You are sharp and focused at work , feel great throughout the day and you don’t need to down two espresso shots before you hit a workout.
THE GUT CHECK CHALLENGE is not a diet plan. It is an attempt to make you realise that you are in complete control of your body and don’t need a fad diet to look great and feel amazing.
p.s. Having a six pack is not a benchmark for fitness.
